Happy Thanksgiving

My favorite holiday!!!! All the good food and family time, what could be better. It's so important to remember all we have to be thankful for. Dad and Mom are usually here for T-Day but this year Mom was in TX helping Maria with little DJ. Anyway, we loved having Papa at least!
Yummmm! Turkey

Watching Daddy and Papa barbeque the turkey.

Testing apples to make sure they are ok for the apple pie.

Visiting Cousins

We just got back from a wonderful trip to visit my sister and her family. The cousins all had a wonderful time together. Unfortunately Bill had to work so the kids and I missed him terribly!

Papa and Grandma D with all the kids in their matching Italia t-shirts.

The girls took he day to go to American Girl Store for brunch and shopping while the boys went to Bass Pro Shop for the day. I think we all enjoyed the time.

Uncle Phil with the twins.

Trenton loved snuggling up with Papa when waking up after nap.

Emma took advantage of my distraction when getting Trenton dressed to find the treats in the diaper bag and find a hidden corner to eat happily.

Loving DJ

Emma was so scared to hurt DJ she wouldn't even move her head. Once we got DJ settled she held onto him tightly and only moved her eyes to look around. Already has the mommy instincts!

Grandma D and DJ

The babies caught me holding Dj when they woke up from nap. They didn't seem to mind a bit!

Tons of outdoor playtime! Soccer, cars, scooters, tramplene balls, and good old running!

Of course lots of indor play.

Welcoming our newest nephew

With much joy we welcome another nephew into our family. Little DJ (Derek) was born just a couple hours ago at 9lbs 9ozs. Mother Maria and baby are doing just fine. Can't wait to meet you in a couple weeks, DJ!

For the family back East

Celebrating our New York relatives!

Happy Halloween

We took the kids to the zoo halloween event which will probably be the only time as it was PACKED!!! You couldn't even walk without waiting for the people in front of you to move. But... the zoo did a fabulous job with all the decorations and costumed characters. Very little scary which is what we wanted. Our actual halloween day was spent at a fun birthday party for Naomi!
