Recent happenings

These are from most recent and on back. Something I haven't gotten on film is the twins singing. They stand up together and sing and laugh, then clapping their hands and saying 'Yay!' Too cute and will try to get on video. Emma sings all the time, whether sittin gin her high chair or walking around, even helping sing during hymns in meeting. Trenton is just now starting to enjoy singing also. Bill is down with Pneumonia, again, and so the kids love to snuggle up with him while he naps.

Emma woke up early from a nap and I came in to find Trenton sleeping like this. I thought it absolutely adorable, as I love babies feet, and so had to take a picture.

Ever since Emma became scared of baths, we've been giving them showers and they LOVE them. At first only Trenton would stand under the water, but now Emma loves it too. It helps that it has been cold and they need the warm water to warm up!

Trenton jumping up and down on Daddy's chest. No idea how Bill bore that!

Snuggles with Daddy!

They love trying on all of our shoes now. They even go in the closet and pull out shoes to wear around the house.

The light saber is bigger than him, but he sure enjoys swinging it around. Everybody watch out! Mini jedi coming through!

Bill's Birthday

Poor Bill had to wait almost 2 weeks to celebrate his birthday. With how busy the holidays were and so many visitors, his birthday got put on the back burner. Well, must admit, I have a lot of making up to do this next year!

A Day at the Park

We had a fun day at the park awhile back and I was able to snap a few photos. The twins love the park, always up and down the slides and swinging away. Of course plenty of running, which means good napping! Momma's favorite part! Of course, we make time for a quick snack!

Brina

I just loved this photo of Trenton snuggling up to Brina and using her as a backrest while reading. I love seeing the kids enjoy Brina. She is such a good dog and doesn't get the attention she deserves. Hopefully that will change as the kids get older!

The New 'House'

Bill made the kids a little house out of the box their kitchen came in. They had so much fun going in and out - loking out the windows - reading and playing inside! Sometimes the most fun is just with a box!

Finger Painting

This is the twins first experience finger painting. So much fun to watch!

Holiday Fun

Bill had to work Christmas Eve and so was able to be home when the twins woke up Christmas morning. I spent several hours Christmas Eve putting together the kitchen - didn't realize they were so much work! It was totally worth it to see huge smiles light up both of their faces when they saw it. They had to play with it before sitting down for breakfast!

Granny Sal and Aunt Deeds arrived shortly after breakfast. Emma spotted a new doll and welcomed her immediately!

Granny Sal's magic

Just one example of her amazing wrapping skills. Yes, this is just the wrapping!

Enjoying a moment of snuggles.

Opening presents.

Making sure he looks good in the photos!

Bill's amazing scrapbook albums Sallie made. They show all of his school years!

The amazing new Buzz Lightyear! No unsupervised play with THIS one!

Food galore! Poor Bill napped through lunch as it was the only quiet moment available (Babies naptime too).

The beautiful hats Aunt Deeds made. You can't see it but Christmas lights lit up around the flowers!

The Christmas morning crew!

Papa and Grandma arrived later in the evening after Granny Sal and Aunt Deeds had to leave. Of course a few more presents presented themselves before bedtime!

Trenton learned a new dance from the remote control Buzz. It is a spanish dance and Trenton puts an arm over his head and bends his knees and spins. Totally hilarious! Still trying to capture it on video.

Very cool new train set - We all enjoyed this one!

Snuggles with Grandma

And then... a couple days later, the Hawkins crew arrived for the day. And more presents appeared! This was the most extended holiday ever!

After Papa and Grandma and all the Hawkins left, Granny Sal returned just before New Years eve. She was able to spend the night and get some quality time with the twins!

Of course we had to show her our fort building techniques.
