Holiday Fun

Bill had to work Christmas Eve and so was able to be home when the twins woke up Christmas morning. I spent several hours Christmas Eve putting together the kitchen - didn't realize they were so much work! It was totally worth it to see huge smiles light up both of their faces when they saw it. They had to play with it before sitting down for breakfast!

Granny Sal and Aunt Deeds arrived shortly after breakfast. Emma spotted a new doll and welcomed her immediately!

Granny Sal's magic

Just one example of her amazing wrapping skills. Yes, this is just the wrapping!

Enjoying a moment of snuggles.

Opening presents.

Making sure he looks good in the photos!

Bill's amazing scrapbook albums Sallie made. They show all of his school years!

The amazing new Buzz Lightyear! No unsupervised play with THIS one!

Food galore! Poor Bill napped through lunch as it was the only quiet moment available (Babies naptime too).

The beautiful hats Aunt Deeds made. You can't see it but Christmas lights lit up around the flowers!

The Christmas morning crew!

Papa and Grandma arrived later in the evening after Granny Sal and Aunt Deeds had to leave. Of course a few more presents presented themselves before bedtime!

Trenton learned a new dance from the remote control Buzz. It is a spanish dance and Trenton puts an arm over his head and bends his knees and spins. Totally hilarious! Still trying to capture it on video.

Very cool new train set - We all enjoyed this one!

Snuggles with Grandma

And then... a couple days later, the Hawkins crew arrived for the day. And more presents appeared! This was the most extended holiday ever!

After Papa and Grandma and all the Hawkins left, Granny Sal returned just before New Years eve. She was able to spend the night and get some quality time with the twins!

Of course we had to show her our fort building techniques.
